What couples ask us.
Do our guests need to download an app?
No. Guests join in their phone’s browser from the link, QR code or six-character code, enter a name, and can upload straight away. The app is there for anyone who prefers it.
Who can see our photos?
Only people with your event link or code. Media is stored privately and delivered through short-lived signed links. You can pause uploads, approve contributions and remove anything at any time.
What happens after the first 100 photos on a free event?
Nothing breaks for your guests. Every upload still succeeds; photos after the first 100, and all videos, are kept safely in your private vault until you choose to reveal them with an Event Pass.
Is the Event Pass a subscription?
No. It is a single purchase for one event, made in the app, with the price shown in your local currency before you buy. It includes 24 months of hosting, and you can extend hosting later if you want to.
How long are the photos kept?
A free event is hosted for 90 days after the event. With an Event Pass it is 24 months, with a 50 GB fair-use allowance. Either way, we recommend downloading your originals so you always have your own copy.
Does Happily replace our photographer?
No, and it is not meant to. Your photographer tells the story of the day; your guests catch everything around it. Happily puts both views of the day side by side.
